Volunteer Pre-Match Training
The main goal of this training is to help Bigs to have a positive, effective relationship with their mentee and his or her caregiver. Research shows mentors have more satisfying and long- lasting relationships with their mentees and that their mentees have more positive outcomes than mentees who are matched with an untrained mentor. So, we think that training is critical to successful outcomes for most children.
